As stewards of our environment, we plan to share our knowledge with others with respect for the environment and building on traditional practices passed down to us to produce high-quality, organically grown, healthy agricultural products.

Rooted in Passion, Growing for the Future 🌿
KET’S Gourmet Farm began as a passion project for founders Kermit and Yvonne Tucker, who turned their love for health and gardening into a thriving urban organic farm. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a full-fledged operation, and by 2000, the couple embarked on the journey to become officially certified organic farmers. Nestled on a one-acre property, KET’S Gourmet Farm now produces nutrient-dense, organically grown herbs and vegetables for an increasingly health-conscious clientele, ensuring that every product is cultivated with care and quality in mind.
Beyond fresh produce, the Tuckers have expanded their offerings with Tuck-Villa Organic Honey and a unique collection of handcrafted wines—including Otaheite Apple Bush Wine and Banana Sherry—along with other specialty beverages. Their commitment to reconnecting people with nature led them to achieve full certification by the Jamaica Bureau of Standards in 2021, making them the first designated urban organic farm in the country. Despite the challenges, their passion and dedication, backed by strong family support, have paved the way for continued innovation and growth, proving that the future of KET’S Gourmet Farm is just as bright as its roots are strong.
KET’S Gourmet Lifestyle Philosophy
Kermit E. Tucker is a lifestyle consultant by profession, and along with his wife, Yvonne Tucker has operated KET’S Lifestyle Consultancy for over twenty years. Kermit’s lifelong interest in health and fitness started at age twenty-five when he was diagnosed with stomach ulcers. With determination, he changed his outlook about food and became engaged in athletics. This led to his distributorship of nutritional products of Golden Neo-Life Diamite (GNLD) along with his wife, with extension into the broader Caribbean. His message of a healthy lifestyle extended beyond the shores of Jamaica.
The Tuckers’ deep love for Jamaica’s finest offerings has shaped their journey in incredible ways. Kermit Tucker’s passion for culinary excellence led him to serve as a culinary arts judge for the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC), where he traveled across the island celebrating local flavors. His dedication didn’t stop there—he went on to pioneer the Jamaican Chapter of the renowned Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, an international gastronomic society that honors culinary tradition and excellence.
With his country-boy roots from the hills of Saint Ann, it was only natural for Kermit to cultivate an organic farm around his home. What started as a humble hobby has since grown into KET’S Gourmet Farm, providing nutritious, organically grown herbs and vegetables to health-conscious customers. Through valuable partnerships with the Jamaica Organic Association, the farm’s fresh produce can now be found in major supermarkets and is supplied to local communities, churches, and business associates. Each order even comes with a honey-based salad dressing, made straight from the farm’s own harvest.
